HUE COLOR STORY 01 Mary’s Home Oasis | Mystic, CT

Working with Mary was such a profound experience. She is a true inspiration. She is a cancer survivor. She won the battle. She then redefined her life. She moved to another state, and she started over. She bought a home that she loved that was close to the water. She brought me in to make this home hers. We created color palettes that are a reflection of where she is today. The palettes that surround her in her interiors bring her such comfort, strength, and inspiration. They fill her in so many ways. Her master bedroom is very special. Mary loves the ocean. She loves the smell, the sound, and the colors. She’s drawn to sea glass. We created a custom color called Gracie’s Seaglass for her bedroom. Every time she goes to her bedroom, she’s surrounded by this color that is so fulfilling and brings her such peace and joy. We collaborated together so beautifully, and now her home is truly her oasis.
